Obituary for William Joseph Mueller
William Joseph Mueller, age 75, of Naugatuck entered into rest on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury with his loving family by his side.
He was the devoted husband of 35 years to Barbara Ann (Krozer) Mueller. William was born in New York City, on September 4, 1945, son of the late Herman and Elsie (Stacy) Mueller. He was raised and lived in Stamford for most of his life. He was a longtime resident in Fairfield before moving to Naugatuck where he resided for over 10 years.
He began his career as a Data Processor at Union Trust before working at Air Express International. William spent the rest of his career at Nielsen Media Research for many years until his retirement. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and a lifelong member of over 30 years of Cos Cob Revolver & Rifle Club. William also taught handgun safety and permit courses.
He was the beloved father of Dana Mueller, Christine Mueller and Kimberly Mueller. William was the loving grandfather of Vincent, Ashlyn, Sadie, and Harlan.
On Tuesday, May 11, 2021 friends are invited to his graveside service at 1:30 pm at Huntington Lawn Cemetery East, 40 Lane St., Shelton.
