Tom “Tommy” Laskaj, age 31, of Shelton, entered into rest on Tuesday, November 17, 2020. Tommy was born in Derby on September 1, 1989, son of Elizabeth Frrokaj Laskaj and Nikolla Laskaj, and was a Shelton resident. He worked locally in construction and was very devoted to his family. In addition to his mother Elizabeth, he also leaves two cherished brothers, Luan and his wife Tania and Ded Laskaj, his nephew Lennox Laskaj, maternal grandparents Ded and Zoja Gjidoda, Aunt Hana Merturi, Uncles George, Zef, Peter and Louie Frrokaj, and his close friend Ryan Bennett. A walk-thorugh visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020, from 2 to 5 PM at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton. Visitors are required to wear masks and social distance as they walk through, pay their respects and exit without lingering to ensure all guests can come through. His funeral service is private.
