Obituary for Thomas L. Sheehan, Jr.
Thomas L. Sheehan, Jr. age 62, of Shelton, entered into rest on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center.
He was the devoted husband of 28 years to Marianne (Murzyn) Sheehan. Thomas was born in Bridgeport on June 25, 1958, son of the late Thomas L. Sheehan, Sr. and Geraldine (Mickel) Sheehan. He was an employee at Textron Lycoming for 13 years until his retirement. Thomas enjoyed bingo and loved going to tag sales with his wife. He was a fun loving person with a heart of gold.
Thomas was the beloved father of Jennifer (Sheehan) Petrenko, loving grandfather of Ksenia and Kira Petrenko and brother of Dorothy Koscelek and the late Kathleen St. Louis and the late Beverly Spodick. He was also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A walk through visitation will take place on Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton. Visitors are required to wear masks and social distance as they walk through, pay their respects and exit without lingering to ensure all guests can come through. On Friday, his funeral service will be held at 11:00 am at the funeral home and will be livestreamed. His burial will follow at Lawn Cemetery.
