Obituary

Shirley Keller, age 90, of Shelton entered into rest on November 21, 2020 in Shady Knoll Nursing Home. She was the devoted wife of the late Stanley Keller.

She was born in Stratford on Aug 23, 1930 daughter of the late Elford and Harriet Rogers Bailie and was a Shelton resident for many years. Shirley was employed with the City of Shelton in the Mayor's Office for 12 years until her retirement in 2015. Shirley was an Avid reader and a member of the Library Board in Shelton.

She is survived by her son-in-law Ronald Morosko, two grandchildren, Kevin and wife Cheryl Morosko, Stephen Morosko and three great grandchildren Nathan, Lucas and Jacob Morosko. She was predeceased by her son David Keller, her daughter Cynthia Morosko and one brother.

Due to the covid pandemic her funeral services will be held at a time to be announced at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd.

The Shelton Republican Town Committee offers its prayers and condolences to the family and friends of Shirley Keller. She was a kind, soft spoken person and wonderful example for so many throughout her lifetime. She will be sorrowfully missed but remembered for her gentle demeanor and dedication to her family, friends and the many who were blessed to know her during her tenure at Shelton City Hall.
