Obituary for Raymond S. Paulson
Raymond S. Paulson, age 69, of Shelton entered into rest on Friday, April 23, 2021 at his home.
He was born in Yonkers, NY on October 9, 1951, son of the late Henry J. and Rose J. (Vrabel) Paulson and was a lifelong Shelton resident. Raymond owned and operated Center Deli for 30 years before his retirement. He was a coach for Shelton Youth Soccer for many years and dressed as Santa for various community events in Shelton throughout the years. Raymond was also an avid Detroit Tigers fan and enjoyed golfing and fishing.
He was the loving father of Raymond S. Paulson, II and Christopher M. Paulson and companion of Lynne Paulson. Raymond was predeceased by his sister Margaret A. Paulson.
A walk through visitation will take place on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 9:00 - 11:00 am at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton. Visitors are required to wear masks and social distance as they walk through, pay their respects and exit without lingering to ensure all guests can come through. His graveside service will follow at 11:30 am at Riverside Cemetery, 308 River Rd., Shelton.
