Ralph Albarelli, age 91, of Shelton, beloved husband of the late Helen Albarelli, entered into rest on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at CT Hospice in Branford. He was a devoted husband of 68 years, enjoyed casino trips with Helen and spending time playing cards with their family. Ralph was born in Bridgeport on September 30, 1929, son of the late Joseph and Antonetta Albarelli. He was a Bridgeport resident for most of his life where he was a salesperson at Mister Jerry’s Men’s Clothing Store. Ralph lived in Shelton for the last seven years with his granddaughter Melissa, her husband Sean and their three children. He is survived by his brother Jerry Albarelli of Trumbull. He was a dear uncle and will be greatly missed by all of his nieces and nephews. He was a proud grandfather and great grandfather who loved spending time with them all. Ralph was the loving father of the late Elaine Basque and Joann Albarelli, cherished grandfather of Melissa and Sean Millea, David and Bobbi Basque, and great-grandfather of Jaxon, Colson and Téa Millea. In addition to his daughters, Ralph was predeceased by a grandson, Timothy Toros, his brothers John and Samuel Albarelli, and his sister Marie Posh. The Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
