Obituary for Pelagia Marczak
Pelagia Marczak, age 77, of Shelton entered into eternal rest on Monday February 1, 2021 at St. Raphael Hospital in New Haven. She was born in Poland on June 12, 1943 the daughter of the late Jozef and Zofia Andrysewicz. She worked as a machinist for many years before her retirement. Ms.Marczak enjoyed spending time gardening and attended St. Michael’s Church in Derby.
She is survived by her son John Marzak, her brother Kazimierz Andrysewicz, and her sisters Barbara Sobolowska and Celina Sokolska.
A walkthrough visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday February 10 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM in the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd. Shelton. Visitors are required to wear masks and social distance as they walk through, pay their respects and exit without lingering to ensure all guests can come through. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 PM in St. Michael’s Church, 75 Derby Ave. Derby. Her burial will be held privately in St John Cemetery, Monroe.
