Obituary for Lois Domozych

Lois Domozych, age 88, of Shelton, entered into rest on Saturday, December 11, 2020, at Ct Hospice in Branford. She was the devoted wife of the late Norman Walter Domozych. Lois was born in Derby on November 7, 1932, and was a lifelong Shelton resident.

She worked for many years as a Medical Receptionist for New England Ears Nose and Throat before her retirement. Lois loved bingo and was a longtime volunteer at St. Joseph Church in Shelton, where she was also a member of the Rosary Club.

She is the beloved mother of Walter Domozych and his wife Debbie, Elaine Raccio and her husband Stephen, and Mary Spickle and her husband Robert. She also leaves eight cherished grandchildren, Meagan Jones (Gareth), Kerristen Raccio (Shawn Peckham), Stephen Raccio (Rachel Falbo), Robert Spickle, Jr., Bryan Spickle, Sarah Sprague (Jimmy), Samuel Domozych, and Chelsea Townsend (Charles), five great-grandchildren, Kyla, Ethan, Sadie, Olivia, and Mila, and her sister, Joan Albrecht. She was predeceased by two sisters, Julia Byrne and Lorraine Labbe.

The Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church, 50 Fairmont Place, Shelton, on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 10AM. Her burial will be private.
