Obituary for John F. Koch, Jr.
John F. Koch Jr. passed away on March 19th, 2021 from complications from Covid.
He was the beloved son of deceased Anna Jucius Koch and John F. Koch Sr. Brother to Anna Metz and deceased, James Koch (Barbara). Loving husband of 64 years to Joycelyn Capozzi Koch, devoted father to John F. Koch III (Kimberly) daughter, Jillaine Rogers (Rich), predeceased by daughter, Susan Sherman (Howard), and son, Robert Koch (Christine). He also leaves to cherish nine grandchildren, Jamie Pronovost (Chris), John F .Koch IV (Jan), Richie Rogers, Daniel, Michael and Amanda Sherman, Robert and Andrew Koch. Predeceased by his grandaughter, Nicole Sherman. Two great grandchildren, John F. Koch V, (Jack) and Maximo Pronovost. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.
John started his life as a time study analyst working his way to Executive VP of Rudkin-Wiley Corp. He was a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus. He met his wife at St. Patrick's Day Minstrals when they were young and married right out of high school. John would play the ukulele when his children were born. Also bought an organ which he enjoyed playing to entertain. He enjoyed boating, golfing, shooting pool and often enjoyed puffing on a pipe. He had such a sense of humor and was loved by all. He loved spending time with his family. They were his pride and joy. John enjoyed traveling to Florida for the winter months where he met and made many friends and looked forward to seeing his lifelong friend, Lenny Rich. No matter what kind of day he was having his answer would always be "EXCELLENT" even up to the end.
Mass will be held at St. Jude's Parish in Monroe, 12pm on Tuesday, March 23rd, 2021. Family and friends may greet the family at 11:30 am. Burial will be private.
