Obituary for Jeffrey Koether
Jeffrey Koether, age 46, of Ansonia entered into rest on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Griffin Hospital.
He was born in Bridgeport, son of Robert J. Koether, Jr. and Gail (Gusch) Koether. Jeffrey owned J&M Koether Plumbing. He loved to cook, especially on his smoker which he built himself. Most of all, he cherished spending time with his daughter and enjoyed building remote controlled cars and models with her.
Jeffrey was the beloved father of Charlotte Rose Koether, brother of Robert D. Koether and his wife Michelle, uncle of Victoria Koether, grandson of Helen Gusch and nephew of Diane Gusch and Gail M. Koether. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather George Gusch and his paternal grandparents, Marie and Robert Koether.
Friends and family may call on Tuesday from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton. On Wednesday, friends are invited to go directly to St. Catherine of Siena Church, 220 Shelton Rd., Shelton for his Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. His burial will follow at Nichols Village Cemetery in Trumbull.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions may be made to Charlotte Educational Trust Fund through the funeral home.
