Obituary for Harold Hiram Keller

Harold Hiram Keller, age 82, of Shelton entered into rest on Tuesday, April 14, 2021 at Yale-New Haven Hospital with his loving family by his side.

He was the devoted husband of 59 years to Leona (Sinkevich) Keller. Harold was born in Shelton on December 27, 1938, son of the late George M. and Lorretta E. (Werle) Keller. He proudly served with the US Navy. Harold worked for the Board of Education for many years until his retirement. He was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Shelton. Harold was a member of the American Legion Post 16 of Shelton and the Elks Lodge. He was a former member of the Shelton Library Board and previously served on the Shelton Board of Apportionment and Taxation.
His family is what brought him the most joy in life.

He was the beloved father of Cheryl Keller, Karen Kleiner and her husband Dr. Lawrence Kleiner, and Eric Keller and his wife Venus Keller, loving grandfather of Stephen and Lauren Giampapa, Ryan and Nathan Bratz, Karina, Dustin, Kaelin and Rainer Keller and brother of Eileen Allen. Harold was also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic his funeral services are private.
