Obituary for Frange Ndoj (Perlleshi)
Frange Ndoj, age 90, of Shelton entered into rest on Friday, March 12, 2021 at Griffin Hospital with her loving family by her side.
She was the devoted wife of 47 years to the late Frrok Ndoj. Frange was born in Kashnjet Mirdita Albania, daughter of the late Nue and Mar (Deda) Perlleshi. During her early years she was a natural worker and shepherd. She loved taking care of animals especially cows and calves. Frange was known for her skill in making cheese and yogurt. She was also a devoted catholic. Frange was a hard worker and helped raise all of her grandchildren. She welcomed her home to anyone who was in need. Frange was very giving, and was known for her kindness. She would give anything to help others. The killing of her grandson Kristjan which happened in Shelton in March of 2014 was very heartbreaking to her.
Frange was the beloved mother of Tereze Seferi, Mark Ndoj and his wife Lina, Ndue Ndoi and his wife Valbona, Gjin Ndoj and his wife Tereze and Fran Ndoj and his wife Rudina and sister of, Deda Perlleshi, Pashk Perlleshi and Drane Perlleshi. She was also survived by 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Frange was predeceased by a daughter Tone Ndoj, a son Nikoll Ndoj, a grandson Kristjan Ndoj, four brothers, Kol Perlleshi, Mark Perlleshi, Gjon Perlleshi and Nikoll Perlleshi and a son-in-law Xhelal Seferi.
A walk-through visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, March 16th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton. Everyone is required to wear masks and social distancing guidelines will be strictly followed. On Wednesday, March 17th, friends are invited to go directly to St. Joseph Church, 424 Coram Ave., Shelton for her Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Her burial will follow at Mt. St. Peter Cemetery. Masks and social distancing are required.
