Obituary for Eileen Marie Wyskiel
Eileen M. Wyskiel, age 57, of Seymour, on Tuesday March 30, 2021 suddenly and unexpectedly taken from this earth and brought an end to many years of battling health issues. She was born in Derby on October 15, 1963 the beloved daughter of Loretta (Oko) Wyskiel with whom she made her home and the late Mitchell R. Wyskiel.
Eileen spent the last 20 years of her life in Seymour but her heart remained in Shelton where she spent her childhood and young adult life. She graduated from Shelton High School in 1981 and completed her education at the University of Connecticut where she received her degree in 1985. She worked for many years at Greenwich Associates as a data analyst after college. Eileen was an avid Yankees fan and UCONN basketball fan. She enjoyed the challenge of games shows and spending time with her family
Besides her mother she leaves behind her loving brother William (Bill) Wyskiel and his wife Karen, and her cherished godchild Michelle (Shelly) all of Branford, her caring sister Laura Mateja and her husband Gregory, and niece Allyson and nephew Zachary all of South Burlington, VT.
A walkthrough visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday April 7, 2021 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am in the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd. Shelton. Visitors are required to wear masks and social distance as they walk through, pay their respects and exit without lingering to ensure all guests can come through. Her Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Wednesday April 7 at 11 am in St. Margaret Mary Church, 50 Donovan Ln. Shelton. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Shelton. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Margaret Mary Church in Eileen’s honor. Online condolences can be left for her family at www.riverviewfh.com.
