Edward G. Mazur, age 83, of Shelton, peacefully entered into rest at home on Sunday, June 6, 2021, with his family by his side. He is the beloved husband of Janice (Hutchison) Mazur. Edward was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA on June 14, 1937, son of the late Frank and Anna (Suda) Mazur, and lived most of his life in Shelton.

He proudly served his country with the US Airforce. Edward had a 35 year career as a General Foreman for Pratt Whitney before his retirement in 1995. An avid longtime golfer, he then worked in the Pro Shop and as a Ranger at Whitney Farms Golf Course.

He is the beloved father of Debbie Mazur, Lisa Fresa, Lynn Heintz, Joseph Larcheveque, Mary Lou Dehner and Michelle McKiernan,. Ed also leaves a brother, Raymond Mazur, sixteen cherished grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife Helen (Soboleski) Mazur and a brother Frank Mazur.

A private funeral will be held with a full military honor burial at Mt. St. Peter's Cemetery in Derby.
