Obituary for Andrew William "Bill" Rondos
Andrew William Rondos, age 94, of Shelton, entered into rest on Monday, May 10, 2021, at Bishop Wicke Health Center in Shelton. He is the beloved husband of 72 years of Alvina (Giambartolomei) Rondos. Bill was born in New York, NY on December 11, 1926, son of the late Michael Rondos and Gladys (Anderson) Jensen, and lived in Shelton for over twenty years.
He served his country with the US Navy and went on to a career as an attorney. Bill enjoyed being outdoors boating, fishing, camping, and golfing, was an avid bowler, and was a skilled woodworker who enjoyed making toys for his grandchildren.
He is the beloved father of Craig Rondos and his wife Rosemarie and Lynn Sawyer and her husband Broderick, cherished grandfather of Broderick Adam Sawyer, Rachel Sawyer, Emily Diggs (Jordan), Matthew Rondos, and Zachary Rondos, and great-grandfather of Theodore Emmit Diggs. He was predeceased by his brother, James Rondos.
