Obituary

Alyce H. Branum, age 85, formerly of Piseco, NY peacefully entered into rest on Tuesday January 19, 2021 at Cambridge Manor in Fairfield, CT with her loving family by her side.  She was born in East Orange, NJ on April 11, 1935 the daughter of the late George and Helen (Scheffel) Ramage. Alyce lived most of her life in Piseco, New York where she enjoyed her happiest days while sharing it with family and friends.   After retiring from IBM and an exciting career in the computer industry, she followed her passion and earned a masters degree in theology. She became an ordained interfaith minister and served as Chaplin at Amsterdam Memorial Hospital.

She is the beloved mother of two daughters Judy Langston and Jill Lee, one step-son Joseph Lewis, loving grandmother of seven grandchildren Dianna Gleason, Janica Bagosy, Edward, Michael and Anna Lee, Christopher and Kari Lewis, great grandmother of Logan and Colin Gleason and also survived by several nephews.  She was predeceased by her sister Elaine Bellville.

Due to the COVID pandemic, a memorial service will be held at a later date  and time to be announced when it is safe to gather in Piseco, NY. The Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd. Shelton, CT are entrusted with her arrangements.  Online condolences can be left for her family at www.riverviewfh.com

Judy and family, Thank you for sharing mom with us during her time at Atria/Spring Village. I loved my daily visits with but my lasting memory will watching her success with physical therapy...walking with to the dining room. Love to you all Jeanne Osborn Di Muzio
