Albert J. Rosenthal, age 79, of Shelton entered into rest on Sunday December 13, 2020 in Griffin Hospital with his loving family by his side. He is the devoted husband of 60 years to Margaret Trembeczki Rosenthal. Al was born in Bridgeport on March 9, 1941 son of the late Leo and Agnes Doherty Rosenthal and has been a resident of Shelton for most of his life. He was employed as a Machinist at Sturm Ruger for 20 years before his retirement. He was a member of the marine reserve for 8 years. He was also a parishioner of St. Joseph Church, a member of the men's club for many years, and also a member of the Port Five Naval Association.

He is the beloved father of Rick Rosenthal and his wife Susan, John Rosenthal and his wife Karen, Diana Kaminski and her husband Tim, Amy Kurimsky and her husband Matt, loving grandfather of Julie Kaminski, Tamara Rosenthal, Ryan and Austin Kurimsky. He is also survived by one sister Sally Smith and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Sue Tole.

Friends and Family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 10 am in St. Joseph Church, 424 Coram Ave. Shelton. Burial will be private. Masks must be worn and social distancing must be adhered to when attending the mass.
